1. Online application 

We open our applications for 5 weeks starting mid-September (subjected to change due to the pandemic). Interested people apply online through the application form. 

Check the following eligibility criteria for your organisation:

  • Organisation should be registered and running on ground for at least 1 year

  • Organisation should have / have applied for 80 G and 12 A

  • Organisation should be run by at least a 2 member team

  • Organisation’s model needs to be such that it can be scaled using a Fellowship Model

  • Organisation should be excited to design and run a Teaching Fellowship 

2. Phone interview 

After we have reviewed your application form, we may have some additional questions for you. If so, you will be invited to attend a short phone interview. We will ask follow-up questions to gather further information that will be helpful in our evaluation.

Shortlisted applicants are invited for the last stage of selection - Assessment Centre

3. Assessment centre 

Assessment Centre is a 2-day long residential selection process. It helps create a space for all the applicants to co-learn and explore diverse perspectives on quality education in their contexts. Core purpose of this space is to  deeply understand the alignment and need of a Teaching Fellowship Model in the applicant's region.

Incubation Program 

Our Incubation Program supports and guides educational entrepreneurs through personalised coaching, Learning Circles (residential training), site visits, webinars, peer-learning, access to mentors and experts to develop relevant knowledge, skills and mindsets. This enables them to launch a contextualised, high impact and sustainable Teaching Fellowship Model.

Alignment with TFIx: We look for organisations who are passionately working towards providing quality education to the most marginalised and vulnerable children. We look for Entrepreneurs who are excited about launching a Teaching Fellowship Model in their organisation.

Values: We look for strong values that the individual chooses to operate with, as that will have an impact on how their organisation is run on the ground.

Leadership: We look for leadership qualities in the applicant to spread awareness about the challenge they are solving, the work they are doing and to invest people in their work.

Continuous Learning: We look for individuals who are open to feedback and sharing, and can learn from different perspectives.

Entrepreneurial skills: We look for individuals who possess entrepreneurial characteristics like perseverance, critical thinking skill and resourcefulness, which go a long way in helping them build sustainable organisations
